This is a means tested government grant that provides financial aid for post-secondary students with disabilities. This grant helps cover the costs of services and equipment that are essential for your learning. Genio Notes is regularly recommended and funded through this grant program, particularly if you need support with note taking. You can also use it to secure funding for other assistive technologies such as speech-to-text, text-to-speech and mind mapping software. ## How to check if you are eligible? We’d recommend speaking to your Disability Student Services first, as they’ll be able to advise on the application process and provide assistance in doing this. The grant application will be through your province or territory's student financial aid office. You can contact them directly for application details and deadlines.
